Pause Select – Refund and Return Policy

 

Returns Overview

We accept returns within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the condition requirements detailed below:

  • The original game case and manual (if applicable) must be included.
  • The correct game cartridge/disc must be included.
  • No major damage that wasn’t present in our product photos.
  • All included components shown in the listing must be present.

Since we sell pre-owned items, normal signs of wear shown in the product listing are not considered defects.

All returns are verified against the original photographs and serial markings. Items returned with swapped components, missing parts, or different discs/cartridges will be rejected and returned to the sender at their expense.

 


 

⚠️ Special Conditions for New & Opened Items

Due to the nature of collectible and media products, we strictly enforce the following conditions to prevent misuse and cover processing costs:

1. Sealed (New) Items

Returns will be refused if the factory seal has been opened, broken, or tampered with.
The item must be returned in the exact original sealed condition as shipped.

2. Restocking Fee (Opened, Non-Defective Items)

For change-of-mind returns (buyer’s remorse) for any opened, non-defective item, a 15% Restocking Fee will be deducted from the refund.

The Restocking Fee covers inspection, cleaning, testing, and processing costs for pre-owned returns.

 


 

Damages and Issues (Our Fault)

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if:

  • The item was damaged in transit
  • You received the wrong game
  • The condition does not match the listing (e.g., undisclosed damage or missing components)

We will review the issue and resolve it promptly with a refund or replacement if available.

 


 

Return Process & Shipping Responsibilities

To start a return, contact us at contact@pauseselect.com.
Do not return any items without approval.

Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the return address.

Shipping Responsibility:

  • Our Fault: We cover return shipping.
  • Buyer’s Fault / Change of Mind: Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

 


 

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Digital codes (once revealed)
  • Items marked as “as-is,” “no manual,” “case only,” “disc only”
  • Clearance / final sale items
  • Missing components that were originally included

If unsure, please contact us before initiating a return.

 


 

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you want a different item, please return the original (if eligible) and place a new order.

 


 

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method, minus any applicable fees
  • Processing typically takes 3–10 business days
  • Your bank or card issuer may require additional time
